What is the Prize?

The chance to win a spot on the prestigious Scuderia Ferrari Esports Team. Plus, there are exclusive Ferrari prizes up for grabs throughout the competition!

What is the Ferrari Esports Series format?

The tournament consists of 4 distinct stages:

Drivers participate in Hot-Laps consisting of 8 different tracks, 4 on Assetto Corsa, and 4 on Assetto Corsa Competizione, each track session is a one-week period where drivers can join a server and set a Hot-Lap. The top 24 fastest laps for each track then qualify for the Qualification Races. Drivers can join and leave the server at any time during scheduled one-week sessions to attempt Hot-Laps. Drivers are not required to compete in every single week or on both games, you can pick and choose which week you'd like to participate in, and if you'd like, you are allowed to attempt all 8 of the Hot-Lap sessions across both games. These sessions can be entered in all 3 regions across the globe, EMEA, Americas, and APAC.

The top 24 drivers from each of the 8 Hot-Lap sessions, in each region independently, will move on to the next stage, Qualification Races. Drivers remain on the same circuit, game, and region as their Hot-Lap, and their Hot-Lap determines their starting position for the race. From this stage forward new drivers will not have the opportunity to register or enter the tournament.

The top 3 from the Qualification Races stage from each of the 8 races, then compete in regional finals. There is one race per region, this result then determined the finalists.

The top 3 from the Regional Finals stage then compete in the Grand Final with the addition of a wildcard participant. The wildcard participant will be selected by one of the sponsors, based on their independent selection processes, and will have the same opportunity as any other participant to win prizes.

More detailed information on the tournament format can be found in our Official Rulebook.

Can I enter multiple Hot-Laps and sessions?

Absolutely! Race as many Hot-Lap tracks as you want. The Hot-Laps run across Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) and Assetto Corsa (AC) on PC only. If you qualify for multiple sessions, there is a limit of 2 you must choose from to continue into the next stage, but this does not stop you attempting them all.

I've missed this or previous weeks sessions. Can I still compete?

Yes. If for example you register on the 3rd or even the 8th week of Hot-Lap sessions, you can still attempt the remaining ones. The registration cut off is August 12th.

What cars and tracks are being used for the Hot-Lap sessions?

Below is a table for all cars and tracks, including dates, for the Hot-Lap sessions. We recommend joining our Discord to keep up to date on events and when these servers go live. You can also refer to our on-site Calendar for this information.

Place the custom skin folders inside the "skins" folder.

Navigate to the Customs folder located in your Documents.

Can I stream my Hot-Laps?

Absolutely! Share your hot laps with the world on your preferred social channel and #ferrariesportsseries. You may even see your post pop up on the Ferrari Esports Series social channels. You are also encouraged to save any VODs or track replays as evidence of your successful laps in case they need to be reviewed for verification.

How old do I need to be to take part?

To participate, you have to be 18 years or older. More information on age restrictions or entry requirements can be found in our Official Rulebook.

Which region should I enter/are there any residency or ping requirements?

You'll be entered with the region your currently reside in. We'll use the information you enter on Nationality and residency when you sign-up for a Ferrari Esports Series account to determine which leaderboard your laptimes will be placed. We encourage you do use a server based on the best ping available. The tournament has a maximum ping threshold of 150ms. Thanks to our automated scripts, you will not have to manually select the correct tournament to participate as this is determined by your account information, so please ensure it is accurate.

Further information on residency or ping requirements can be found in our Official Rulebook.

My lap is not displaying on the leaderboard. What did I do wrong?

Our automated leaderboards do not update instantly, so first, give it a few hours to see if your laptimes then appear. If it has been a substantial amount of time you may have either an invalid laptime (corner cutting/track extending). Firstly, go back and check your lap replay or recording to ensure the game itself didn't notify you of this penalty.

If you are confident your lap is clean, you may not have linked your Steam account to your Ferrari Esports Series account in order for us to associate your laptime to you. To link your Steam account, head over to https://esportsseries.ferrari.com/account/settings and under "Linked Accounts", select the "Link Account" button next to "Steam:".

This will open a new window asking you to log into Steam using Steam's API. We do not receive access to your Steam account by doing this, all data remains on Steam itself, this simply automatically ties your public Steam64 ID to your Ferrari Esports Account, no personally identifiable information is transferred using the Steam API.

Do I have to take part on PC or console?

The Ferrari Esports Series is currently exclusively on PC (Steam), and is being played across Assetto Corsa (AC) and Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC).
