Thrustmaster Community cup 2024 - RULES AND TERMS & CONDITIONS
The protection of the dignity of the individual involved in Sim Racing is a fundamental construct of the Ferrari Esports Series. The specific rules for the behavior of drivers and teams (and their associates) are as follows:
- Participation Rules
- Drivers must be at least 16 years old.
- Participants that take part in the Regional Qualifiers or Regional Finals of the official Ferrari Esports Series 2024 are not eligible win prizes
- If you’re a participant that has unfortunately not progressed into a further stage of the Esports Competition, you’re then allowed to participate in the following available hotlap stages
- Each Winner is only eligible to one product prize throughout those 9 weeks of the competition
- You must use your real first and last name on your SimGrid account.
- You must use your real first and last name on the Ferrari Esports Series Discord Server.
- Grand Finals
- The driver who wins the 10th and final week of the Thrustmaster Community Cup in October 2024 will qualify for the Grand Final and are required to attend the on-site event in December.
- This driver must ensure they possess all necessary travel documents.
- The driver who qualifies for the Grand Final will have their travel expenses covered by the Organizer
- Hardware Requirements
- Drivers must do all that they can to have a stable internet connection;
- Drivers with ping above 250 ms and/or rubber banding will be monitored;
- Drivers who persistently have issues with their internet connection pose a risk to others and could potentially be asked to retire and leave the server.
- Wi-FI, mobile hotspot and VPN connections are common causes of unstable connection. Please avoid using these types of connections wherever possible.
- You must own a computer that meets the minimum game requirements.
- You must race using either;
- Wheel and Pedals
- Gamepad (controller)
- Software Requirements
- To be allowed to join this competition, you must own;
- A legal PC copy of Assetto Corsa Competizione
- Downloadable Content (DLC) and/or Modified Files (Mods)
- On ACC, the Ferrari Esports series will use the following paid content that you must own;
- Ferrari 296 GT3 - For use at all weeks of the Thrustmaster Community Cup
- Suzuka - For Week One of the Thrustmaster Community Cup
- It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that they own the content required to participate in the series.
- Any content that the user does not own, will need to be purchased at the users own expense.
- Telemetry & replays
- It is mandatory that drivers record telemetry and replays on all laps set in official sessions of the Thrustmaster Community Cup;
- Official sessions refers to all laps set on the Thrustmaster Community Cup server.
- Failure to record and provide telemetry and/or replays if requested by the Series Organizer will result in a penalty/disqualification.
- Instructions on how to provide the telemetry and/or replays will be given in the event that the Organizer requests this information.
